The MDLA Trial Tactics Committee asks you to please save the date for its Deposition Academy.  The Deposition Academy is the second event in the three trial tactics training events – targeted at new to mid-level associates with the goal of giving these lawyers a running start in their career development and business development.  Participants who attend all three events, will obtain MDLA’s Trial Tactics Committee Civil Litigation Certification.

The Deposition Academy will be held on February 15, 2019. It will be an all-day interactive seminar with live demonstrations to include topics such as: Deposition preparation, making and responding to objections, managing challenging witnesses / combative opposing counsel, use of documents and exhibits, what to expect in a 30(b)(6) deposition, defending your adjuster’s deposition, and spotting reptilian tactics.

The Deposition Academy will be tremendously useful on its own and as a companion course to the November 9, 2018 “Representing Insurance Companies: What Your Clients Wish You Knew.”

Cost

$299 for MDLA members and $349 for non-members
