MDLA’s 18th Annual Women Lawyer’s Breakfast!
Imposter Syndrome – And What To Do About It
Have you ever dismissed your success? Kept an idea to yourself because it isn’t “perfect” yet? Felt like a fraud or an imposter? Held back from the next step in your career because you didn’t feel ready? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you have been impacted by imposter syndrome. The good news is you can do something about it! In this interactive session we will discuss how imposter syndrome impacts us, why it affects women more than men, and practical tools to manage imposter syndrome so it does not hold you back.
You will leave with:
- Techniques to recover quickly when doubt and imposter syndrome strike
- Methods to quiet the inner critic
- Strategies to handle perfectionism
- Tactics to communicate with greater power and confidence
