New Defense Lawyers Committee
What is the New Defense Lawyers Committee about?
The New Defense Lawyers Committee (NDLC) is aimed at providing attorneys in practice for 8 years or less with experiences and opportunities to develop and cultivate their legal careers. The NDLC holds several formal and informal social events throughout the year for new lawyers to build relationships with fellow new lawyers and their more experienced colleagues. Additionally, the NDLC puts on "brown bag lunch" continuing legal education courses on a variety of topics of interest to new lawyers and organizes the New Lawyers Session of the MDLA Mid-Winter Conference. If you cannot make it to an NDLC event you can still participate online through the "New Lawyers" listserv, which allows you to connect instantly with all fellow new lawyer MDLA members. The NDLC is a great way to meet fellow new lawyers and become involved in the MDLA. Join the committee and stay up to date on all the happenings of the NDLC!
If you would like to join this committee, please update your online member profile by checking the "New Lawyers" committee box under the "Practice Type" section.
